Artist Spotlight: Cruisr

This week we have a present for you. This crew has been hiding in plain sight, providing some of the most casual summer pump-up sounds you’ve ever heard. Who could this possibly be? You already know: Cruisr.

Cruisr is a Melodic Indie band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Started in 2012 by frontman Andy States as a solo project, the band now consists of States, Jonathan Van Dine, and Bruno Catrambone. They are signed to Vagrant Records & have a few EPs that consist of one or two songs each. You might recognize the total jam “Throw Shade.” No? Take a listen now:

Cruisr is currently working on their first album, coming out this year (2017). Knowing they’ve only had singles/EPs (with a few songs listed), it’s a sure thing this album will be great…. even better than the 9 jams we have already been graced with.

Cruisr has toured along with bands like Misterwives, Against the Current, and a full North American tour supporting The 1975. With those tours under their belt and their amazing sound, sure enough, you’ll be seeing them All Over.

They even had a short headlining run (summer 2016), and sold out their hometown show, which I was excited to be present for this band has made a huge effort to keep going from a solo act to a three piece band, they’re definitely going places. Keep your eyes peeled for Cruisr.
