Artist Spotlight: Lewis Del Mar

Lewis Del Mar is a pop/electronic duo is from New York City and made up of drummer/producer Max Harwood and vocalist/guitarist Danny Miller. The duo has turned heads with the release of their first EP and their track “Loud(y)” reached number #7 on the Billboard Emerging Artists in 2016.

Lewis Del Mar got the opportunity to open for Young the Giant on their Home of the Strange Tour this year. We had the pleasure of hearing them live for the first time not too long ago at the Knitting Factory Boise.

The band is touring as a five piece to give the performance more of a live feel instead of looping their tracks in the background. Their unique blend of electronic and stripped down acoustic caught our ears instantly.

The band surprised us with the amount of raw energy put into their live performance. Lewis Del Mar instantly became one of our new favorites and we hope to see them soon!
